REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Hey, flamenco crew! Life’s unpredictable, and we totally get that plans change. This Refund Policy spells out how refunds work for Flamenkos LLC tours, retreats, classes, gift cards, and more. We’re keeping it fair and clear, so you know what to expect if you gotta cancel that Seville tour or Oregon retreat. Let’s break it down!

TOURS TO SPAIN

Cancel 60+ days before your tour (like Andalusian Flamenco Odyssey)? You’ll get a full refund, minus a $100 admin fee to cover our paperwork.
Cancel 30-59 days out? 50% refund, since we’ve likely paid non-refunded deposits to hotels or flamenco schools.
Less than 30 days? Sorry, no refunds—too many fixed costs. But we’ll try to move you to another tour if there’s space.
Deposits (if you paid one) are non-refunded unless you cancel 60+ days out.
If we cancel a tour (like if a venue shuts down, super rare), you get a full refund or a spot on another tour—your call.
No refunds for missed flights, visa issues, or if you change your mind mid-tour.
U.S. RETREATS

Cancel 45+ days before a retreat (like Desert Flamenco Retreat)? Full refund, minus a $50 processing fee.
Cancel 15-44 days out? 50% refund, as we’ve booked lodges or instructors.
Less than 15 days? No refunds, but we’ll check if we can shift you to another retreat (fingers crossed!).
If we cancel a retreat (say, due to a wildfire risk), you’ll get a full refund or a reschedule option.
No refunds if you leave early or skip parts of the retreat.
FLAMENCO CLASSES

Portland in-person or online classes: Cancel 7+ days before the session starts for a full refund, minus a $10 fee for our time.
Less than 7 days? No refunds, but we might offer class credit for a future session—just ask us quick!
Class packages (like a 10-class pass): Refunds only for unused classes, minus a $15 fee, if requested within 30 days of purchase.
Guest artist workshops are non-refunded, no exceptions, since we book those pros months out and they’ve got travel costs.
GIFT CARDS

Our gift cards are awesome and never expire, but they’re non-refunded once bought—think of ‘em like cash for flamenco fun.
Use ‘em for group classes, tours, or retreats (not guest artist workshops or private lessons).
If you lose your gift card code, let us know—we’ll try to help, but no guarantees.
HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

Shoot an email to [email protected] with your name, booking ID (from your confirmation email), and why you’re canceling.
Or call us at +1 323-655-9471 during business hours (9 AM-5 PM PST, Mon-Fri).
We’ll process refunds within 10-14 business days, sent back to your original payment method (credit card, Zelle, etc.).
If you paid by check, we’ll mail a refund check to your address.
EXCEPTIONS AND SPECIAL CASES

Force majeure (like pandemics, earthquakes, or government travel bans): We’ll review refunds or credits case by case, aiming to be fair.
Medical emergencies: Send us proof (like a doctor’s note), and we might offer a partial refund or credit, even if you’re past the deadline.
No refunds for no-shows, late arrivals, or if you just decide a tour’s not your vibe halfway through.
If a tour or retreat’s rescheduled (not canceled), you can join the new date or request a credit, but no cash refunds.
TRAVEL INSURANCE

We super recommend travel insurance for Spain tours! It can cover cancellations due to illness, flight issues, or other surprises. Check providers like Allianz or World Nomads.
Retreats might not need full-on insurance, but check your health or trip policies for coverage.
